Every family is unique, and every baby is unique. I do not believe there is a "one size fits all" approach to parenting or taking care of a baby, and promise to always keep up to date with research and evidence, and provide you with as many options as possible. I will show you the studies, explain the research, and give you enough tools to make an informed decision. In the end, you are the parent and may choose to take or disregard any advice or information, and I will always honour and respect your choices.

I am a huge supporter of attachment parenting. Attachment parenting has received a bit of controversy over the years, however I feel like many people just don't understand it. It is simply the idea of creating a bond of trust and love between the baby and the parents, though various instinctual methods. Again, there is no "one size fits all" approach, and you do not need to practice every method in order to achieve that bond with your baby. You know your baby best, and know what your baby needs from you. I will simply provide ideas and options. 

It is important to note that while I have been trained to work as a postpartum doula, I am not a medical professional. I can provide resources and advice, but with anything medical related will advise you to visit with your baby's doctor. I am not a substitute for a doctor, but rather a supportive and helpful hand.
